NRK (The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) is the national broadcasting network. In 1996 they launched a new TV channel specialising in cultural entertainment. The channel was named NRK 2 and the brief was to create a broadcast identity that was radically different to the parent channel and to emphasise their unique programming offer.
