After seeing our ‘Olympian’ project Canon commissioned us to produce a new exhibition and catalogue showcasing images shot, filmed and printed using Canon digital equipment. We chose Maya Vik as our model, she’s the bassist with the Grammy winning band Montée and a figure in Oslo’s fashion scene. In parallel to our various shoots Maya was working on her solo album, it became natural to combine the music with the imagery hence the ‘AV’ (Audio Visual) title. The exhibition was heavily featured in the national press and TV and continues to evolve as a global promotional event for Canon. The limited edition catalogue and LP sold out immediately.
