  • There's been a lot of chat about the new DC brand identity by Landor, with criticism declaring the "page turning" look suggesting the outmoded comic page format. Personally I don'y know what all the fuss is about, I think its a smart way to subtly acknowledge their heritage whilst providing a perfect opportunity to provide some animation for the digital media. The best feature of the identity (even though MTV have done it for decades) is the facility to keep it alive with ever changing imagery. Who could begrudge DC showing off character like Batman and Watchmen. Nice one Landor!
